Adobe Class

Today we learned how to use Photoshop to create walking carrots. It was a really fun lesson and I had a lot of fun participating in it. I had a lot of questions when using Photoshop as I had not used it before, but after I asked for help from the teacher, the questions were answered very well, so the lesson was very effective and fun to finish. I also gained a better understanding of the functions of Photoshop and will be able to use the computer to help me do my work better when I work with images in the future.

PPD Questions:

1:What were some of your limitations when you are working digitally?

Because I had not been exposed to editing pictures with a computer before this course I really seemed to struggle with some of the functions and function keys. Also because I am not a native English speaker myself, I need to translate when I see some specialized vocabulary, so I am not proficient enough in using this type of software and it takes me a lot of time to operate it. So I hope that in my future studies I will be able to use this kind of software more often and gradually become familiar with it, which will then help me to handle pictures better.

2:As a result of today’s session, what might you do differently next time?

Through this lesson, I have seen the possibilities that this software can bring to images and it has given me some inspiration and ideas. So in the future, I will use Photoshop more often and be more flexible in changing images. I will also use it more often for collages.

3:How does it make you see design/art differently? What else do you want to explore on your own?

In fact, through this lesson I have seen the endless possibilities of combining pictures, how to use the computer to make your pictures more interesting and how to transform them to achieve the effect I want. Also I would like to try to experiment with Photoshop to create more different effects to my pictures so that my pictures can be more in line with the theme I want to express. I will also learn more software like this to be more efficient when I do visual stuff in the future.
